A source-linked inventory of what selected airline pages and contracts publish about airline-initiated schedule changes. We show the source scope and unknowns so the data can be checked rather than taken on trust.
We track 42 relevant airlines. 40 entries have checked schedule-relevant first-party sources; 2 show related official material with a narrower scope. The remaining 0 are research candidates and are excluded from the public dataset until their source text is verified. “Not publicly specified in the reviewed source” refers only to that linked document; “Not assessed in this release” means the field has not yet been researched. Neither label proves an airline has no such policy elsewhere.
This is a selected sample, not a census or a ranking. Policies vary by ticket, route, booking channel, notice timing, and applicable law. A refund rule and a carrier’s rebooking flexibility answer different questions. Read the public methodology before drawing comparisons.

Which official source are you reading?
These selected U.S. carrier records point to different kinds of first-party documents. A traveler help page, passenger contract and agency servicing policy can answer different questions. Use each linked record’s source location, check date and limitations before citing a clause. This is a source-finding aid, not a survey of all U.S. airlines or a ranking of policies.

Public traveler help section on schedule changes, cross-checked against the current contract and customer service commitment
Rebooking language
For the help page's stated cancellation or changed-departure scenario, Avelo lists a flight within seven days before or after the original departure date, with the same origin and destination and no difference in fare.
Timing
The option body describes a changed departure time of more than three hours; a separate section addresses changes of less than three hours. The heading also mentions a different calendar date. The help page does not resolve the option menu at exactly three hours or explain a smaller change crossing a date boundary.

Routing and connections
The listed seven-day move retains the same origin and destination; the reviewed section gives no separate connection rule.
Cabin

Refund reference
The help page lists cancellation of impacted flights for an original-payment refund, or Avelo Cash for the fare plus an extra incentive, as separate choices in its stated scenario. Contract §12(A)(i) separately points to 14 CFR §260.6 for covered significant changes.
Booking channel
Contract §3(B) says Avelo accepts reservations booked directly with Avelo; verify the booking and payment channel for a particular itinerary.
Limitations
The help-page menu is not the full DOT legal test. Its exact-three-hour boundary and the heading's different-calendar-date branch are not settled by the option body. The contract's Avelo Cash validity definition has a different purpose. These sources do not guarantee an individual option or refund.
Eligible DL-006 agency tickets may be reaccommodated under defined guidelines; a flight-number-only change does not qualify for a complimentary change under this policy.
Timing
For tickets issued on or after October 28, 2024, the listed time-change trigger is 180 minutes domestic or 360 minutes international; older tickets have a 120-minute trigger.

Airport change
A different departure or arrival airport is listed as a qualifying change.
Routing and connections
An added stop or a change causing a misconnection is listed as qualifying.
Cabin
A downgrade to a lower class of service is listed as qualifying.
Refund reference
The policy says eligible agency records may cancel and request a refund of the unflown portion instead of a complimentary change.
Booking channel
Written for travel agency partners; applies to specified Delta-marketed DL-006 tickets.
Limitations
Agency processing rules are not a universal promise to directly booked, award, interline, or otherwise issued tickets.
For qualifying changes in its dedicated schedule-change section, JetBlue describes another JetBlue flight within five days before or after the original flight at no additional charge.
Timing
The Disruptions section uses 3+ hours domestic or 6+ hours international for an earlier departure or later arrival. The separate Flights Changed by JetBlue section says more than 3 hours domestic or more than 6 hours international for its listed schedule-change options. The measures and exact boundary words differ.

Refund reference
The Disruptions section lists an original-form refund for its specified changes if the customer cancels online or contacts JetBlue before departure; the dedicated schedule-change section also lists an original-form refund for its stated qualifying changes.
Booking channel
Options depend on the reservation shown in Manage Trips.
Limitations
The two sections use different time measures and boundary wording. Do not infer an outcome for an exactly three- or six-hour change from this summary. The separate DOT refund criteria for covered itineraries may also matter.
Public refund FAQ, customer service plan, and passenger contract
Rebooking language
Contract §17.E describes transport over Frontier's own route system after a schedule change before travel, subject to applicable law; no replacement-date window is specified in that section.
Timing
The refund FAQ says greater than 3 hours domestic or greater than 6 hours international. The separate Customer Service Plan §5 says 180 minutes or more domestic or 360 minutes or more international. Their exact-boundary words differ.

Refund reference
Both public pages describe an original-payment refund for a qualifying cancellation, significant schedule change or delay when the traveler does not travel or choose a credit. Contract §17.E separately describes a conditional unused-portion refund for a significant pretravel schedule change when Frontier is merchant of record and alternatives are not accepted.
Booking channel
Contract §17.E identifies Frontier as merchant of record for its stated refund obligation; an agency-issued booking may require separate servicing review.
Limitations
The FAQ's greater-than and service plan §5's or-more wording diverge at exactly 3/6 hours. The service plan's separate §12 uses in-excess-of-three-hours language for delays. Neither §5 nor the FAQ specifies a change direction in its threshold sentence; contract §17.E has no numeric threshold. This record does not resolve an individual case or replace the direction-specific DOT rule for covered itineraries.
Schedule-change definition and Rule 240 in the website-linked passenger contract
Rebooking language
Rule 240 addresses alternative transportation acceptable to the passenger for a defined significantly delayed or changed flight; if Sun Country cannot provide it, the rule refers to a refund of unused transportation under Rule 260. It gives no replacement-date window.
Timing
The contract defines a significant time change as an origin departure at least 3 hours earlier or destination arrival at least 3 hours later for a domestic itinerary, or at least 6 hours for an international itinerary. It gives no separate replacement-date window in Rule 240.
View source details and limitations
Airport change
The definition includes a different origination airport or destination airport.
Routing and connections
The definition includes more connection points, or for a passenger with a disability, travel through different connecting airports.
Cabin
Rule 240 and Rule 260 describe a fare-difference refund when a confirmed higher-class seat is replaced by lower-class seating.
Refund reference
Rule 240 conditionally refers to a refund of unused transportation under Rule 260 when acceptable alternative transportation cannot be provided; Rule 260 describes the unused-ticket calculation and an issuance exception.
Booking channel
Rule 260 says Sun Country is not obligated under that rule to refund an unused ticket without a confirmed Sun Country-flight reservation unless Sun Country issued the ticket.
Limitations
This is contract language, not a complete consumer-facing rebooking matrix or a ticket-specific outcome. Rule 240 gives no replacement-date window. DOT refund criteria for covered U.S. itineraries must be assessed separately; the contract does not displace them.

For eligible EVA (695) or UNI (525) tickets, the page describes a one-time change on specified conditions, generally keeping the same origin and destination and booking class.
Timing
Qualifying alternatives can be rebooked within 14 days before or after the original disrupted flight; a departure or arrival difference of more than two hours is one eligibility condition.

Airport change
An alternative with a different departure or arrival airport is listed as a qualifying condition; Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung are treated as the same ticket point for the stated rebooking rule.

Cabin
The policy has separate premium-economy handling when an aircraft issue changes available cabin inventory.

Current website-linked passenger contract, §8.A–B, addresses eligible schedule changes alongside cancellations, modifications, and delays
Rebooking language
Section 8.B says Breeze may offer the first Breeze flight with seats to the original destination. For an eligible schedule change or other listed event, an itinerary change under that section is described as without charge and/or fare difference if the departure and arrival airports remain the same and the itinerary is rebooked within 14 days of the original departure date.
Timing
The 14 days is a rebooking window from the original departure date, not a numeric schedule-change trigger. A delay exceeding two hours is a separate listed event; §8.B gives no numeric threshold for an eligible schedule change.
View source details and limitations
Airport change
The described no-charge and/or no-fare-difference itinerary change requires the same departure and arrival airports; §8.A separately permits Breeze to alter intermediate airports.
Routing and connections
Section 8.B includes missed connections and added or omitted stops among modified-flight examples, but does not guarantee a specific routing remedy. Reimbursement for other-carrier flights is generally excluded with limited exceptions.

Article 10.1.3 addresses a significant time change that is unacceptable when no acceptable alternative can be booked; Articles 10.2.2(c) and 11.2 describe refunds for their stated circumstances and unused ticket value.
Booking channel
Article 11.4 directs passengers who purchased through an authorised agent to seek a refund from that agent in the first instance.
Limitations
The contract is effective from March 14, 2025; older ticket-purchase periods have separate linked versions. Article 10.2.2 covers specified events, not every minor timetable edit. Applicable law and the ticket terms may affect the outcome.
Public help page addressing flight changes, delays, cancellations, and missed connections
Rebooking language
For a cancellation or affected connection, the page describes accepting Iberia's offered alternative or choosing another flight. Its delayed-flight or time-change section lists travelling at the assigned time or changing flights without a charge, subject to the rights applicable to the circumstances.
Timing
The reviewed page does not state a general numeric trigger or rebooking-date window for a time change.

Airport change
Not publicly specified in the reviewed source
Routing and connections
The page discusses alternatives to the final destination after a missed connection and says Iberia strives for a convenient route in its delay or time-change section.
Cabin
For relocation following cancellation, delay, or denied boarding, the page says the passenger keeps the same cabin and fare benefits.
Refund reference
The cancellation and delayed-flight or time-change sections list a refund voucher or cash to the original payment method as options, with a jurisdiction and delay-length caveat.
Booking channel
For a flight booked through a travel agency or other intermediary, the page directs the traveler to that intermediary for arrangements before reaching the airport.
Limitations
This Spain/English help page groups disruptions and time changes; it does not establish that every small advance schedule edit qualifies for a free change or refund. The page expressly ties remedies to applicable passenger-rights rules and circumstances.

Refund reference
Section 15 refers to applicable law and easyJet's separate disrupted-services page; it does not itself set out a schedule-change-specific refund rule.
Booking channel
Section 15 says easyJet contacts the Booker after a cancellation or significant change; the Booker must tell other passengers on the booking. Section 3 says an agent may be recorded as Booker.
Limitations
The reviewed terms confirm that schedules may change and that easyJet will contact the Booker about a cancellation or significant change. They do not define 'significant' or give a complete advance-change rebooking matrix. Applicable UK/EU rights depend on the itinerary and circumstances.

Dedicated travel-agency schedule-change policy
Rebooking language
For a Qantas-operated and marketed flight or specified Emirates-operated QF flight on a Qantas ticket, the policy lists same-day, a day either side, or next-available rebooking paths.
Timing
The agency policy distinguishes a schedule change from a disruption within 72 hours of departure and describes route-specific rebooking options.

Routing and connections
The policy allows specified connecting Qantas or Emirates-marketed alternatives under its route map and handles misconnections separately.
Cabin
The reviewed QF/Emirates option calls for the same cabin and booking class where available.
Refund reference
The policy describes requesting a refund of an eligible Qantas (081) ticket when the schedule change is unacceptable and the customer declines credit.
Booking channel
This page instructs travel agencies on ticket reissue, authority codes, and refunds; other ticketing channels need separate servicing guidance.
Limitations
Alternative-carrier and ticket-stock branches differ; do not generalize this agency table to every Qantas itinerary.

August 2026 conditions define a Significant Change and address post-booking schedule changes in section 8.1
Rebooking language
For a Significant Change after payment caused by an event within Jetstar's control, section 8.1(c) describes no-additional-cost rebooking on the next available Jetstar service to the booked destination or an applicable-fare refund at the traveler's option. Section 8.2 gives a different response for events beyond its control.
Timing
The contract defines Significant Change as a change of 3 hours or more to scheduled departure time. Section 8.1(c) also describes a narrower refund path below 3 hours when the booking cannot serve its intended purpose and no acceptable alternative can be booked; no general replacement-date window is stated there.

Routing and connections
Section 8.1(c) permits a Jetstar flight or combination of flights to the booked destination for its stated case. Section 8.3 says separate onward flights normally remain the passenger's responsibility unless Jetstar advises otherwise.
Cabin
Not publicly specified in the reviewed source
Refund reference
Section 8.1(c) gives an applicable-fare refund option for its within-control Significant Change, with a conditional below-3-hour case. Section 8.2 describes a flight credit, rather than this same refund promise, for its stated beyond-control case when acceptable rebooking is unavailable and the trip purpose cannot be achieved; applicable law may add remedies.
Booking channel
The JQ contract applies subject to fare, redemption, operating-carrier, ticket, and applicable-law terms. Section 2.13 warns that a codeshare or interline operating carrier's schedule rules may differ.
Limitations
The 3-hour definition measures scheduled departure, not final arrival, and is Jetstar contract language, not a universal Australian or U.S. legal test. Event control and ability to use an alternative matter. Section 16 states separate terms for U.S.-connected bookings; this record does not determine an individual refund or a policy change since a prior edition.
Agency policy for planned changes or cancellations more than 72 hours before a VA-operated departure or more than 48 hours before a partner-operated departure
Rebooking language
For eligible 795 tickets, the policy describes automatic next-available protection and separate VA-operated and listed partner-operated rebooking options when the new itinerary is unsuitable.
Timing
Section 4.1 gives eligible 100% VA-operated domestic tickets a 24-hour window around original departure and international tickets the next scheduled available flight. Section 4.2 gives partner-operated tickets separate windows and conditions; this is not a single traveler-wide threshold.
View source details and limitations
Airport change
For the stated VA-operated domestic option, BNE, OOL, and MCY can substitute for one another. A listed QR-operated option conditionally allows another origin/destination within its specified 750-mile rule with fare and tax differences collected.
Routing and connections
Section 3 requires minimum connection time and restricts reaccommodation to the same marketing and operating carrier; Section 4's route-specific tables control the available alternatives.
Cabin
The rebooking tables distinguish the same cabin and booking class from a lowest-available booking-class alternative; some partner options collect fare and tax differences.
Refund reference
Section 4.4 describes a request to refund unused flights to the original payment form when the new itinerary is unsuitable, subject to sequential-order and fee conditions; eligible unused ancillary charges are separately addressed.
Booking channel
Section 3 requires Virgin Australia 795 ticket stock and gives travel-agent reissue and waiver-code steps. Direct-booking revalidation and credit handling differ from indirect-channel servicing.
Limitations
This is a first-party agency servicing policy for planned changes, not a general passenger or reward-ticket entitlement. Near-departure disruptions, another ticket stock, partner fare inventory, ticket details, event-specific waivers, and applicable law can change the answer. Do not apply the partner table to every Velocity redemption.
Article 14 addresses schedules and involuntary rerouting or refunds
Rebooking language
For the Article 14(B) or 14(C) circumstances, the passenger may choose the stated rerouting or refund measure; the rerouting method remains subject to the contract's conditions and ANA's choice of carrier or transport.
Timing
Article 14 does not state a general numeric schedule-change threshold or rebooking date window.
View source details and limitations
Airport change
For domestic carriage under Article 14(B), a destination or stopover airport designated as nearby may be used in the stated force-majeure circumstances.
Routing and connections
Article 14 covers a missed reserved connection in the stated circumstances; Article 14(C) excludes ANA liability for a missed onward ANA connection caused by another carrier's schedule failure or change.
Cabin
Article 14(C) retains the original class's free baggage allowance on ANA-requested rerouting and describes refunds when ANA requires travel in a lower class.
Refund reference
Article 14(B) points to the Article 14(C) refund calculation; Article 14(C) describes unused and partly used ticket amounts and separate lower-class treatment.
Booking channel
The conditions refer to ticket and carrier rules; on a codeshare flight operated by another carrier, the operating carrier's terms may apply.
Limitations
The contract's Article 14 remedies apply to its specified cancellation, schedule-operation, missed-stop, seat and reserved-connection circumstances. They should not be generalized to every minor timetable edit; applicable law and other ANA regulations may also matter. Current contract is effective for travel starting May 19, 2026.

Current public conditions of carriage address schedule changes in Article 11.1
Rebooking language
Article 11.1.3 considers an alternative flight acceptable to the passenger after a significant departure-time change. Article 11.2.3 separately lists rerouting choices for the specified cancellation, rerouting, or delay situations.
Timing
Article 11.1.3 does not give a numeric definition of a significant departure-time change or a rebooking date window. The four-hour Brazil and five-hour other-flight figures in Article 11.2.3 belong to its separate cancellation, rerouting, or delay clause.
View source details and limitations
Airport change
Article 11.2.3(c) describes onward transport to the agreed destination after rerouting to another airport in the situations covered by that clause; Article 11.1 does not state a general alternate-airport rule.
Routing and connections
Article 11.4 limits onward-connection responsibility to specified own-network connections or circumstances for which Norwegian is liable.
Cabin
Not publicly specified in the reviewed source
Refund reference
Article 11.1.3 points to an Article 12 refund if a significant new departure time is unacceptable and no acceptable alternative seat can be obtained. Article 12 contains calculation, channel, and applicable-law conditions; Article 11.2.3(d) addresses its separate event class.
Booking channel
The conditions apply to DY/D8 operated flights. Article 11.1.2 asks third-party bookers to ensure their contact details reach Norwegian; U.S. flight notices follow a separate customer service plan.
Limitations
The contract does not define 'significant' numerically for an advance departure-time change. Do not apply Article 11.2.3's delay figures to Article 11.1.3 or promise a fee-free full refund for every change. Ticket terms and applicable law may affect an individual case.

Traveler-facing FAQ for airline-canceled or rescheduled flights, with a separate U.S.-connected subsection
Rebooking language
The general section describes selecting another flight at no cost while retaining destination, cabin and add-ons. For canceled or rescheduled flights to or from the United States, the page lists a no-additional-cost change in the same cabin and route, or an open-ticket option.
Timing
The general section says ticket changes can be made up to 12 months from the trip's start date. The U.S. subsection separately describes an open ticket for up to 12 months from the page's stated first-original-flight-purchased reference. Neither period is a numeric schedule-change trigger.

Routing and connections
The U.S.-connected no-additional-cost rebooking option says same route; a separate connection remedy is not specified in the reviewed FAQ.
Cabin
The general section says retain the cabin; the U.S.-connected rebooking option specifies the same cabin and route.
Refund reference
The U.S.-connected subsection lists a refund of unflown flights with corresponding taxes, seats and baggage. It also describes an automatic refund after rejection or no selection before the rescheduled flight departs; that is LATAM's published statement, not a case-specific DOT determination.
Booking channel
The FAQ routes LATAM Travel and Despegar package purchases to their respective contact or servicing channels; ordinary agency-issued tickets are not fully covered by the reviewed text.
Limitations
The page covers cancellation and rescheduling together and gives no numeric definition of a significant change. Its U.S. section is not a substitute for current 14 CFR Part 260; payment method, merchant of record, itinerary and traveler response may affect the outcome. The open-ticket reference date is kept in the source's wording.
Advance schedule-change definition and conditional options in the current website-linked passenger contract
Rebooking language
For an advance change within Cape Air's control, §12(e) lists one or more options as appropriate: the next available Cape Air flight, an agreed substitute-carrier flight, same-ticket connection assistance, or in some cases agreed ground or sea transport. The clause also covers day-of irregularities within its control.
Timing
The contract defines a significantly changed itinerary as an origin departure at least three hours earlier domestically or six hours earlier internationally, or a final arrival at least three or six hours later, respectively. §12(e) gives no fixed alternate-travel-date window.
View source details and limitations
Airport change
A different origin or destination airport is in the significant-change definition; the reviewed option clause gives no general alternate-airport rebooking choice.
Routing and connections
More connection points qualify under the significant-change definition. §12(e) describes assistance for a missed onward connection on the same-ticket interline or codeshare itinerary; §11(d) distinguishes separately booked connections.
Cabin
A downgrade to a lower class and specified loss of accessibility features appear in the significant-change definition; the reviewed rebooking clause gives no general cabin-preservation rule.
Refund reference
§12(d) describes a refund choice for a canceled or significantly delayed/changed flight, with rejection, nonresponse and automatic-refund conditions. §10(f) describes eligible involuntary-refund amounts for unused or partly used tickets.
Booking channel
§10(e) directs refund requests for partner- or agency-issued tickets to the seller. §11(b) describes partner codeshare ticketing terms; §12(c) routes planned-change notices to booking partners for partner-booked customers.
Limitations
This contract distinguishes an advance schedule change from day-of irregularity and force majeure. §12(e)'s alternatives depend on a cause within Cape Air's control and are offered as appropriate; they are not all guaranteed. The 3/6-hour definition does not replace the separate DOT rule. Confirm the live source, ticket seller, marketing/operating carrier, accepted alternatives and applicable law for an itinerary.
